Our factory in Newtown is currently certified for FSC® (License Code FSC-C135506) Chain of Custody, and as a company we always look to purchase responsibly sourced materials. The Chain of Custody system allows businesses to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products made with materials from well-managed forests and/or recycled sources. We only work with a list of approved suppliers who meet this criteria, and we recognise the need for our industry to do more to reduce and recycle site waste and we are committed to working with our customers and fellow industry professionals in this important endeavour.
We also look to recycle or reuse materials where we can – for example our manufacturing facilities reuse timber & MDF off-cuts as spacers in our packaging. We’ve already made great strides in developing working procedures that have helped us improve efficiencies leading to significantly increased productivity and reduced lead times. We envisage this having a positive impact upon both our and our customers’ financial sustainability.
